The invitation
If you already know that horse presence has value, and you want to help carry that into the world, I'm inviting you to stand with me.
Not to prove it, but to help make it visible, create experiences people can witness, to gather their words, and share those voices so others might be drawn to try.
Something like this can only begin if a few devoted people stand beside it before it officially exists.
If you feel you are one of them, I would be honoured to form the circle with you.
Make room for Horses. Make room for Life.
What the circle receives
Most of what we have to give is time, the place, the horses' ordinary day, and everything we find out. That is deliberate.
- The Circle
- Your name among the Horse Presence Keepers, kept for as long as the project exists.
- The book
- Written into the book and the archive of the beginning. Made once, not reprinted.
- A certificate
- Ceremonial, made by hand where we can, never printed from a template.
- The opening
- An invitation to the first gathering in Ibiza, whenever the place is ready to hold one.
- An experience
- Come and spend time here, arranged with us at a quiet moment in the year. Not a tour. The ordinary day, with you inside it.
- The films, early
- You see them before they are public, including the ones that did not work.
- Once a year
- The circle is invited to come together, in Ibiza or wherever this has reached by then.
- Wherever it travels
- If a place opens somewhere else, you are invited to that too. The first circle is the first circle everywhere, not only here.
- A letter
- Once a year, what happened, what worked and what did not. Written for you, not published.
- A photograph
- An original image from the project, chosen for the year you came in.
The contribution
€100 is the figure we say out loud, because a number anyone can picture is kinder than asking people to guess.
- More, if you can and want to.
- Less, if that is not possible and you would still like to be there.
- The same circle either way.
What you receive does not move with the amount. Nobody is listed higher, seated closer or thanked longer for giving more.
That is not modesty. It is the clearest way we know of showing that nothing here is for sale. If the money bought something, it would have to buy more when there was more of it.
What matters is that you were one of the Horse Presence Keepers.
Ceremonial, not commercial
It matters that this is clear before anyone gives anything.
- It carries no vote.
- It gives no role in how the association is governed, which its statutes decide.
- It is not a purchase. There is no product.
- It is not a subscription. Nobody is charged again.
The circle stands at the beginning of the project. It is a ceremonial place, held with real warmth, and it is not a legal one.
Why now, before it is finished
Because whether places where horses live freely can create enough human, cultural, research and economic value to hold themselves up is not yet known. That is the whole experiment.
The Horse Presence Keepers make the conditions for it while it is still uncertain, which is the least comfortable moment to help and the most useful.
