Horse Presence
Perhaps
Perhaps a horse could simply be here.
And perhaps that could matter.

Nowadays the world values a horse for two things:what it can do for us, or what it is worth as meat.
But a horse offers so much more.
Life.
The supreme value
What is the supreme value of a horse?
What is it that every living horse offers us?
We want to see your answers. We want to hear your stories.
A horse can give us a place to practise attention, relationship and presence. Perhaps people will see this as valuable for themselves, and help sustain the places where horses can simply live.
This site is made of questions. Its value is in your experiences: in your stories, your testimonials, your art, your reflections.
We are not looking for testimonials about riding. We explore simply being in the presence of a horse.
We believe that if we spread awareness of how the presence of a horse influences a human being, the fate of this species could change: the value of a so-called ordinary horse could rise, and save horses' lives.
The challenge is to create living-only places for horses and ways of supporting them that make living horses worth keeping alive—not just in principle, but in practice. One of them is here in Ibiza, Our Home Can Tigres, and it serves as a model.

What happens when
we don't ask a horse for anything?
Once we enter a horse's space, we become part of it.
The deeper the immersion in this field the more things we discover. It can be only a delicate movement of a horse's ear, our feeling, sometimes a memory or association. After a week we may notice that this encounter has a meaning in our Life.
Today within the research we propose live experiences in Ibiza, but hopefully soon they will be offered all over the world and horses will have the chance to be seen as valuable regardless of their pedigree, age, health condition and usefulness.
Thousands of years
Humans and horses have shared part of our lives for thousands of years. Perhaps we are not finished discovering what that relationship can mean.
Perhaps, if we discover the value of horse presence, we may also discover new reasons to keep horses in the world.
Not only for horses.
For us.
For the relationship.
For the living world we share.
