JOIN/SUPPORT THE HORSES
Support Our Herd.
Help us care for the horses who make this research possible.
Our herd is a small family of horses, part of our research project exploring what people feel when they're near horses. At the heart of the herd is Madre, our eldest horse, who is almost 40 years old. Alongside her are Kashi Pushi, a nine-year-old horse, and father to Shanti, who is seven. Each horse is a unique individual with their own personality, needs, and place within the herd.
We invite you to support their well-being. Your financial contribution helps us provide the essentials they need: good food, daily care, and veterinary attention to protect their health. Every contribution, whatever its size, makes a difference.
By supporting the herd, you help us ensure these horses receive the care they need, while continuing to be part of a project exploring the meaningful connection between humans and horses.
Thank you for being part of their story and helping us care for them. Every contribution helps provide food, care, and health support for the herd.

The horse doesn't have to perform
The horses at Horse Presence are not here to provide rides, lessons, entertainment or therapeutic experiences.
Their continued care does not depend on their willingness to take part in human activities.
The horse is not a service provider.
Take part
Prefer to support something specific? The current needs are published as they change.
Ways to give are being set up. In the meantime, you can buy hay for our horses directly from our hay provider, Ibiza Campestre, or write to us and we will tell you how.
How to take partYour contribution becomes part of the wider experiment: can the value created by horse presence eventually help sustain the places where horses live?
