JOIN/SUPPORT THE DOCUMENTARY
Some stories need time.
Horse Presence cannot be understood in one visit. The horses change. The people change. The place changes. The questions change. And sometimes the things we expect to happen don't happen at all.
What it is
We are not making a film about an idea.
We are following an experiment: a place, a herd, the people who enter it, the relationships that form, the questions that emerge, the research that begins, and the attempt to discover whether a different relationship with horses can create value without turning horses into providers of human experiences.
Not only the beautiful moments. Not only the moments that support the idea. The uncertainty stays in the film.
What we are following
- The horse
- Who are these animals when we stop beginning with what they can do for us?
- The place
- What does it take to create and keep a place where horses can live freely?
- The human
- What happens to people who spend time in such a place?
- The relationship
- What happens between horse and human when participation is not assumed?
- The experiment
- Can these questions actually be studied?
- The economy
- Can the value created by horse presence sustain the places where horses live?
- The island
- Could Ibiza become the first place where Horse Presence develops at a wider scale?
- The future
- Could other places eventually do something similar?

There is another reason to document this carefully. If Horse Presence is to become more than one place, the story has to travel.
A horse cannot travel to every person who might rethink what horses are. Film can. Someone in Ibiza may visit Our Home Can Tigres. Someone in another country may meet Horse Presence through a film, and eventually make a place of their own.
Part of the experiment
We don't want the film to tell people what to think. We want people to witness what happens. So it documents questions, observations, research, human experiences, horse behaviour, changes over time, failures, disagreements, uncertainty and unexpected discoveries.
The documentary is not evidence of a conclusion. It is a record of the journey through the questions.
