Dear Xabi,

I want to take a moment to say thank you.

For at least six years, you have been so much more than someone who helps us build fences, stables, and fix the things that need fixing. You have become a very important part of our place and of our lives.

You have this wonderful ability to create things with your hands, but what you bring to us is much more than practical help. You bring creativity, heart, and art into everything you do.

You are always there when we need you. Whether it is something big or just a small thing that needs to be repaired, we know we can call you. And somehow, you always find a way to help.

But what means even more to me is the love you have for the horses.

Santuario Animal Can Tigres was your first real contact with horses, and somehow these horses became very special to you. You have even helped with their food when things were difficult, and you have gone out of your way to make sure they had what they needed. You even bought them insect blankets because you wanted them to be comfortable and protected.

And then there is Shanti.

Shanti is not always an easy horse. She can be stubborn and difficult, but with you, she has found something very special. You have the patience to understand her, and she trusts you in a way that is rare. I think that special connection between you says a lot about the kind of person you are.

When I look around our place, I can see your work everywhere. You have helped give shape to this place, but you have also helped give it a little bit of your own character.

You don't only build things.
You create.

You don't only bring solutions.
You bring heart.

And because you are an artist, you also bring art.

Thank you, Xabi, for your loyalty, your generosity, your creativity, your patience, and most of all, for the love and care you have shown to me and to the horses over all these years.

Thank you for being there, for helping whenever we need you, and for becoming such an important part of our story.

We are very lucky to have you in our lives.
